Finally! An affordable Cedar Mulch that has all the attributes of Cedar but less costly. Blended with our Hardwood Mulch, this mulch is light red in color and has the sweet smell of Cedar.
Fine Grade Mulch will create a even look to your garden and landscape. The two best benefits to fine grade mulch is weed suppression (need I say more?) and compost. Because of the fine composition, the mulch will break down faster therefore vitamins and nutrients will be fed into your soil that surrounds the roots of your annuals, perennials and trees quickly. Recommendation of thickness of fine mulch would be max 2 inches of fine grade and then 2 inches of standard or coarse. No more than 4 inches overall thickness. Available in natural, red, and black. Denny Wiggers Coarse Grade Mulch is recommended for the larger landscape or for commercial usage. More definition of the hardwood pieces will standout and be noticed. Coarse Grade Mulch will not wash away nor flyaway. Improve the landscape by creating a more natural look if in an urban environment. Typically mulch should be replaced every year. As a parent you want every precaution when it comes to the safety of children. Denny Wiggers Gardens now offers Playground Mulch. DWG Playground Mulch is Organic and free of dyes, preservatives and has not been processed in any way. Ground to 3/4 of inch and screened this mulch is ready to be laid down in your backyard. Recommended depth? For each foot of playground structure height plan on 1 inch of mulch. 10 feet high = 10 inch depth of mulch. Don't forget that mulch will compact over time so you may want to purchase extra or replenish when needed. Below the playground mulch you will need 6 inches depth of gravel for drainage. Order must be placed 2 weeks in advanced.
